We are the Blakney family and we are so thrilled to share our most exciting project yet, The Willows Barn Venue at Blakney Farms with all of you!
We want to share some history about our family and how we began this journey. We are Dave, Michelle, Christopher and Chelsea Blakney and our family has been farming in the area for over 20 years. We have always loved the farm atmosphere and its rustic ambiance. A few years ago we came up with this idea to share such a wonderful way of life in the form of a barn venue with everyone around us. The barn is nestled in a hay field on our 66 acre working farm in rural New Boston, MI. We are hoping this venue allows everyone to experience the beauty of a working farm and its simple yet beautiful scenery.

The Willows Barn Venue at Blakney Farms is a unique and beautiful place to hold your special event. The main body of the barn is NOT traditionally air conditioned. We use large ceiling fans and porta cool fans to help keep guests more comfortable during the warmer months. The small rooms (bathrooms and dressing rooms) are traditionally air conditioned.
